Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice. Yin yoga works deeply into our body with longer held poses revitalizing our body, soul and mind. It targets our deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles. It allows us to unwind, release stress and anxiety. It invites us to sit with our emotions, practice gratitude and self compassion.
